The offspring of a ballerina and a wizard, I delight in all types of magic and movement. I’m a ballerina turned aerialist and acro yogi, who adds a little sparkle wherever I go. As a small tike, I fell in love with ballet, delighting in pointe and being honored with joining the Rockbridge Ballet. My tutu clad adventure quickly expanded to include lyrical, modern, jazz, and ball room dance. Falling particularly head over heels for the sass of salsa. After four years of putting a little pep in the step of Richmond Indiana natives I left being the captain of my dance family, the Earthquakers dance team and Dance Alloy (a large student led dance organization) , and began my circus adventure in 2012 at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. There I cross trained in various aerial apparatuses; including silks, rope, lyra, and trapeze. Craving a return to my native southern climate I moved to New Orleans. It was there I fell instantly in love with the local acro yoga community, led by world renowned acro yogi Aaron Lind. I also continued my aerial training at the home of local movie stunt actors, LA Motion. Having mastered my Master’s degree in Museum Studies I headed north to the city of abundant museums (and much cheaper rent) Pittsburgh. I’ve been nothing short of enamored with the rapidly blossoming home grown acro yoga family that’s rapidly evolved here. I’ve also become quite committed to trapeze and lyra, thanks to the dedicated teachings of fellow Philadelphia School of Circus Arts alum, Jenly Deiter. Then, somewhere along the way, Tangent swept my up into the delightful shenanigans that have become the PCAC. I’ve been enjoying this new troupe of quirky friends, who intermingle all their wonderful circus talents to create truly unique performances. Speaking of, I delight in performing, throwing a little sass and glitter into everything I do, and would love to add a little sparkle to your next event!
